my story


I was at work walking up a flight of stairs when a persistent high heart rate and heavy panting became a cause for concern and dropped me on my a$$.   Exhaustion, heavy periods, and brain fog had been going on for months, and worsening every day.

 

Realizing that I should have been able to walk a flight of stairs without fainting, I made the decision to finally see the doctor.    At my appointment, the doctor informed me I was a walking dead woman and closely in dire need of a blood transfusion due to low iron/blood count.

The solution he offered? A hysterectomy!

Of a perfectly healthy uterus!  

 

"You're in perimenopause" and he went on to say, "you're nearly 50 and you're not planning to have anymore children, you don't need your uterus." 😲  

I was floored.   

But, here’s what I did instead…  

I read everything I could get my hands on about that "transition " all women experience.

And I practiced what I read: lifestyle change, stress reduction, improved nutrition, holistic health and wellness, exercise, I did it all.

 

And this is what happened:   Increased energy, regular periods (even into my 50's), better clarity, and back to running 5 miles/day, feeling more Vibrant and Energetic than before. All with my uterus in tact.
